Description

Sierra Army Depot intends to enter into a sole source contract with LGS Innovations LLC, 5440 Millstream RD, McLeansville, NC 27301, for a Communication Switch Upgrade. This upgrade is for the Force Protection Installation Protection Program which re quires the software, material, and services to activate the Daylight Savings Time change on the 5ESS Voice Switch and the engineering, furnishing, and installation of two PRI T1's for the VCDX Switch. A justification for other than full and open competitio n has been prepared in support of this upgrade. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Warranties existing on the switch require only authorized sources to perform upgrades and/or modi fications. Specifications are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responses and proposals are to be subm itted in writing by fax to (530) 827-4722, or by email to megan.m.barr@us.army.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notic e is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
