Description

THIS ACQUISITION IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Contractor shall: (1) develop an audiovisual presentation system design which is modular in nature to permit varying levels of capability among the NIPTC classrooms, meeting rooms, small library, reception area and several common areas, based upon their size and projected usage, variations among the rooms exist, and (2) install all aspects of this audiovisual presentation system. NIPTC contains eleven (11) classrooms, of which Classroom #1 contains three (3) acoustic dividers that separate the room into four (4) separate instructional spaces, and Classroom #4 contains two (2) acoustic dividers that separate the room into three (3) separate instructional spaces, so that when all dividers are closed there are sixteen (16) distinct classroom units. The largest of these classroom units measures 33 ft. 7 inches x 58 ft. 1 inches (1,958 sq. ft.), and the smallest measures 33 ft. 7 inches x 17 ft. (572 sq. ft.). NIPTC also contains a facility wide message system with a centrally located control area, LCD screens at seven (7) locations, eight (8) meeting rooms, an audio translation room, a small library, a reception area, and several common area corridors. All of these shall contain the audiovisual presentation system and/or cable television systems or components IAW the Scope of Work. A mandatory pre-proposal site visit, for interested offerors, will be held during July 10 and 11, 2007.
