Description

The Government intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price Contract on a sole source basis with Baxter Healthcare Corporation to procure blood collection bags used to collect, process, and freeze blood at the Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune Blood Donor Center, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Baxter is the sole licensed manufacturer of the 800 mL primary blood bags used by the hospital?s machine, the Haemonetics ACP 215, and is the only source that can meet this need. This requirement shall be procured in accordance with FAR Part 15. The delivery date for the resultant contract will be 01 Oct 2007 through 30 Sep 2008 with provisions for four (4) one (1) year option periods. FSC Code is 6515 and the NAICS is 339112. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and any subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents at the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ or the NECO website at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ as this office no longer issues hard copy solicitations. By submitting a proposal, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor or the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended or debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal agency. Failure to do so may be grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. NOTE 22 APPLIES.
