Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO TARGET SAFETY UNDER AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1. Target Safety.Com Inc., 10720 Thornmint Rd., Ste. B, San Diego, CA, 92127, estimated award amount $107,400.00. Target Safety will provide a web base on line training program. This base wide training program is for approximately 1790 employees at the Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, Ca 92311. Period of Performance: 1 July 2007-30 June 2008. Pricing includes 88 environmental, occupational health and human resource training course titles. Employee Training Platform includes compliant content to include: safety question capabilities and a virtual employee safety suggestion communication tool, randomized employee testing, and automatically generates certificates upon course completion. Service capabilities include: assigning employee training, tracking completions, test scores, certificates, addition of new or replacement employees and report generation. Set up of customized website: programming of corporate safety policies and procedures integrated to result in a customized training experience for all employees. This will ensure compliance as well as minimizing legal liabilities. This notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals or quotations. No solicitation will be issued. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, and furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide the services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government is the sole determiner regarding an offerors ability to meet all requirements. The government will consider all EOIs received prior to 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis by 4:00 pm PST on that date. A determination by the government not to co mpete this proposed contract based upon responsed to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responnses sent via US Postal Service should be mailed to: Commanding Officer (B870), Contracting and Purchasing Division, Attn: Corinne Dorado, Box 110340, Barstow, CA 92311-5050. Responses may be submitted via facsmille to Attn: Corinne Dorado at (760)577-6317. Submitters bear the burden of ensuring that any reponses reach the designated Contracting Officer on time. All pages of the facsmile must reach the contracting office by the deadline specified or will not be considered. The submitter bears the risk of non-receipt of facsmile transmissions and should confirm by telephone that any facsmile was received.
