Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center intends to issue a solicitation requesting quotations to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision to replace HVAC air diffusers located throughout the medical center in accordance with solicitation specifications. Work shall include removal of existing supply and return air diffusers, provision and installation of new units, and the cleaning of adjacent ceiling tiles. A complete Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on Fedbizopps on or about June 20, 2007. Interested parties are encouraged to attend a site visit on Friday, June 22, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. EDST. Interested parties should report to the Facilities Conference Room B5371. Contractors shall contact the Contracting Officer to indicate their interest in attending the walk through. Requests, in the form of an e-mail message to patricia.fox2@va.gov, must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Offerors will be required to complete and return all information designated in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. Solicitation responses will be due in the Contracting Office no later than Friday, July 20, 2007 at 2:00 pm EDST. This procurement is 100% set aside for service-disabled, veteran-owned, small business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 238220. The SDVOSB size standard for this procurement is $13 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years.
