- Provide A/E Services for Project #692-07-106, entitled "Re-Roof Connecting Corridors" and Project #692-08-101 entitled "Flat Roofs" at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics, White City, Oregon. Projects involve the replacement of flat roofs on both projects as follows: Project #692-07-106, from Building 209 to Building 219; corridors between buildings, excluding the intersections: 203 to 204, 204 to 205, 205 to 206, 206 to 207, 207 to 208, and 208 to 209; corridors between buildings 209 to 210, 210 to 211, 211 to 212, 212 to 213, and 213 to 214; corridors between buildings 224, 223, 223 to 222, 222 to 221 and 236 intersection to 218. Total square footage approx. 19,000 gsf of roofing area. Estimated construction cost for Project #692-07-106 is between $100,000 to $250,000. Project #692-08-101, Building 211A. Total square footage approx. 23,623 dgsf. Estimated construction cost for Project #692-08-101 is between $250,000 to $500,000. Services will include Phase I involving the preliminary investigative services; Phase II involving the preparation of construction contract drawings and specifications for construction bidding purposes, with electronic format submission after completion of Phase II; and Phase III will be for construction period services during actual construction work. Evaluation factors to be considered will be (1) Specialized experience of the firm with similar contracts; (2) Past record of performance on similar contracts; (3) Geographical location and facilities of the working office; (4) Specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to this project. NAICS: 541310/Size Standard $4.5 million. This is a set aside for small, emerging veteran owned business for firms located within the State of Oregon. It is anticipated that one firm will be selected to design both projects. Firms interested and desiring consideration shall submit Standard Form 330 by close of business, July 5, 2007 to the Contracting Officer shown above. Award is pending availability of funds. This is not an RFP.
