- Description
- It is the intent of this agency to award sole source under FAR Part 13.302 a simplified, firm fixed price purchase order. The sole source will be under statutory authority 10 USC2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This agency intends to award to Honeywell Products, 5307 Industrial Oaks Ste #130, Austin, TX 78735-8821. Statement of Work: The contractor will provide all labor, personnel, tools, communications equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision when necessary to obtain, install, configure, and integrate equipment; to include warranty, training, and technical support and other items necessary to install: a complete, operational, and certifiable access control intrusion detection system in two buildings to include wiring, balanced magnetic switches, magnetic locks, and additional items. The contractor shall provide an electronic CAD copy of "as built" drawings, if significant changes are made. Tyndall AFB utilizes the Vindicator Security Management and Reporting Terminal (SMART) Annunciator with Graphics Display. The security system must be compatible with the current security system installed at the 325FW Law Enforcement Desk. This requirement is to add more sub-systems to the existing system, which requires 1 AF (AFNORTH) to utilize components that are compatible and capable of integrating into the existing system. The contractor shall have Honeywell integrator training for highly complex base upgrade projects as well as the technical training and experience to install Vindicator V5 components. Interested persona may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal; however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received witll normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
