Description: SOURCES SOUGHT The Directorate of Contracting, USMA, West Point, NY is seeking interested parties for a one year contract with options for four additional years for the pruning and shearing of shrubs and small trees on West Point property. Firms responding to this Source s Sought request must be 8(a), Hubzone or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business companies. The contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to perform the maintenance and must have a certified arborist on staff . Examples of the shrubs and trees that will be pruned or sheared are Forsythia, Wiegela, Spirea, Hemlock, Yew, Bayberry, Crabapple, Dogwood, et.al. Cleaning and mulching of beds is also a requirement as is the use of approved herbicides. A non inclusive list of yearly quantities is as follows: PRUNE FLOWERING SHRUBS LESS THAN 5 FT 1200 EA FREQUENCY 2X; SHEAR DECIDUOUS SHRUBS LESS THAN 3 FT 12000 SF FREQUENCY 2X; CLEAN AND MULCH SHRUB BEDS 220000 SF FREQUENCY 1X; MULCH HEDGES 4500 SF FREQUENCY 1X.
