- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), Army Contracting Agency, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Gensym Corporation located at 52 Second Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803-4411 to provide a Logistics Innovative Agency (LIA) with G2/Re Think enterprise licenses as part of their consulting support contracts for the period of 21 SEP 2007 20 SEP 2008. The software is in state of the art object-oriented, modular real-time proprietary programming language known as G2. Because this is a highly specialized requirement being developed through U.S. Army Logistics Innovation Agency, and Gensym Corporation, as a direct sales and service organization, is the sole manufacturer and provider of Gensym products that are used for the software, no other company has the capability to modify Gensyms code to accommodate Army requirements. Therefore, Gensym is the only authorized supplier of Customer Support Services for the Gensym programs LIA purchased. This announcement is in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability statements no later than 14 JUNE 07 3:00pm EST. The capability statements should include the company name, address, contact informatio n, business size, and detailed explanation of how your organization can meet the requirement described herein. All statements should be submitted via email to Ms. Patrice Hargrove, Contract Specialist at patrice.hargrove@hqda.army.mil. Individual resp onses containing company proprietary information must be marked accordingly. Such information will not be released outside the Government. Furthermore, the Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any technical informatio n identified (e.g., limited and/or restricted rights).
