DESC: 1005-01-350-7957, Part Number 12524491, The item to procure is a F/M242 is manufactured from 17-4PH Cres Bar per AMS 5643 or 17-4PH Investment Casting, Harden to Rockwell Requirements, Liquid Penetrate Inspection and finish that is cleaned and passivated. The approximate size is 110.0mm LONG X 56.0mm OUTSIDE DIAMETER, (12) Machined Slots 9.52mm X 30.5mm, 17.75  12 UN-3B inch tread on one end and inside side turned diameter of 32.5mm. Requirements are 289 Guananteed Minimum, Brake, Muzzle. FOB is Destination. For use on the M242 Gun. Estimated issue date is 21 Jun 07. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. Note 22 applies. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
