Description

The government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Fresenius USA, 920 Winter Street, Waltham, MA 02451. This requirement is for (4) Hemodialysis Machines and (4) CRRT EPROMs. The Fresenius 2008K System hemodialysis machine is the on ly machine that will meet the Governments needs for this acquisition based on standardization and compatibility with current portable RO systems. The U.S. Army Health Care Acquisition Activity (HCAA), Great Plains Regional Contracting Office (GPRCO), Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award the contract to provide the hemodialysis machines for the Department of Medicine, Hemodialysis Unit, Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston. This is a sole source award. The GPRCO intends to solicit and negotiate only with Fresenius USA, 920 Winter Street, Waltham, MA 02451 under the authority 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334510. All quotes meeting the capability and specifications of this requirement that a re received within 5 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
