Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for the design, furnish and installation of an automatic fire sprinkler system at the Western Fisheries Research Center in Cook, Washington. All portions of the systems shall be designed in accordance with and as required by jurisdictional authories or codes and shall be in compliance with the latest editions of codes, accessability requirements and standards specified in the solicitation's statement of work. Request for Proposals (RFP) 07HQSS0020 will be posted on electronic commerce on or about June 21, 2007. Details may be viewed on the Department of Interior Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The posted RFP will contain uniform contract format (Section B-M). All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a proposal. Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register by going to www.ccr.gov. A site visit will be scheduled on or about June 27, 2007. Details will be in Section L of the RFP. Inquiries concerning the site visit and the RFP must be submitted in writing by mail, email (lmccarthy@usgs.gov) or fax (703) 648-7901. All inquiries must contain the prospecive offerors complete company name, mailing address, phone number and email address. Phone requests will not be accepted. The anticipated period of performance is 270 calendar days from date of notice to proceed. The estimated cost for this acquisition is between $100,000.00 and $200,000.00. The NAICS Code is 238220. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED.
