- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil . While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm . NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for Elevation Drive Assembly Bearings as follows: CLIN 0001: BEARING, plain, self-aligning; 1.2495 bore ID; Manufacture in accordance with Raytheon Company drawing # 975478, revision B (dated 28 OCT 1980); Minimum quantity: 96 each, Maximum quantity: 600 each. CLIN 0002: BEARING, ball, duplex pair (one set consists of 2 bearings); 2.1654 bore ID; Manufacture in accordance with Raytheon Company drawing # 975216, revision A (dated 13 NOV 1984); Minimum quantity: 24 sets, Maximum quantity 350 sets. CLIN 0003: BEARING, roller, needle-double row, heavy duty, self-aligning, type IV, anti-friction; 1.250 bore ID; Manufacture in accordance with SAE Aerospace drawing # AS24464, revision A (dated 2005-11); Minimum quantity: 24 each, Maximum 200 each. The contract for this commercial procurement will be a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity supply contract for a period of five (5) years. Solicitation N00164-07-R-8918 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. RFP will be available for download at www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/07-R-8918 on or about 22 June 2007. Closing date will be on or about 13 July 2007. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Bldg 3168 Code 8091, Crane, IN 47522. NAICS Code 332991; FSG Code 3110. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of Offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
