- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to procure information technology services on a full and open competitive basis. The information technology services to be bundled under this requirement include: (1) Infrastructure Operations Services; (2)Incident and Problem Management Services; (3)Continuity of Operations Support Services; (4) Integration and Testing Support Services; (5) General Administrative Services; (6) Configuration Management Support; (7) Change Management Support, and (8) Database Administration (Unix/Linux). This effort will be performance based. The services are currently being performed by BAE Systems Information Technology (Herndon, VA) under Contract Nos. PBGC01-CT-02-0618 and PBGC01-CT-03-0668, Cexec (Reston, VA) under Contract No. PBGC01-CT-04-0692 and Serco, Inc (formerly Resource Consultants) under PBGC01-DO-06-0293. The period of performance will include a base year with four (4) one year option periods to be exercised at the discretion of PBGC. 30% of the effort must be performed by small business concerns (either prime or subcontract). In addition, PBGC is seeking more aggressive subcontracting plans that consider small disadvantage, women-owned small businesses and HUBZONE small businesses. The solicitation is not currently available, but is estimated to be available on or about July 5, 2007. The solicitation document, including any amendments, will be distributed through the FedBizOpps.gov web site. The site contains downloading instructions. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and associated amendments will not be made available.
