This solicitation is being repeatedly posted as "New" under the solicitation number RFP# 383-07-EG1-02 at fbo.gov. COnnecting Regional Economies (CORE) Program, Sri Lanka Solicitation/RFP Number: 383-07-EGI-01 Issuance date: June 01, 2007 Deadline for RFP: July 17, 2007 Building on earlier and ongoing Mission economic growth programs, the COnnecting Regional Economies (CORE) seeks to address the disparity in economic development between the North and East and the rest of Sri Lanka. This disparity is a major driver of Sri Lanka?s ongoing ethnic conflict. CORE can help establish conditions conducive to a political solution to the conflict by fostering economic growth that addresses regional and socio-cultural inequities.
