Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a sole source contract with AT&T before Cingular Wireless, Metro Office Park, No6, Cellular One Bldg, 2nd Floor, Guaynabo, PR 00968-1705 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.This action is to procure Wireless Data Equipment/Handheld Services for approximate 30 lines/blackberries. Services to be provided for VA Caribbean Healthcare, San Juan, PR and its community base clinics, located in Ponce, Mayaguez, Arecibo and Virgin Islands (St. Thomas & St. Croix). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation package is available. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to these requirements by 2:00PM America/Puerto Rico, _EST. DAYS ABOUT TEN DAYS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
