- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3ZT897121A101; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-17 and Defense DCN 20070531. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332420. The business size standard is 500 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 2910. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3443. This request for quotation consists of the following items: Item 0001: Qty, 5 EA, 100 Gallon Diesel Fuel Day Tank. Features: Tank is to be made of steel & incorporate spill containment capability. the self-contained day tank shall include a control panel/alarm panel with the following sensors, indicators, alarms: power available, low fuel level and alarm, high fuel level and alarm, pump running indicator, and spill containment/overflow alarm. Day tank must operate & include a switch for manual operations, automatic operations and off. Day tank should have an emergency stop switch. Integral fuel pump shall be rated @ 7 gallon per minute or greater, incorporate a strainer and be compatible w/ diesel fuels #1 & #2. Day tank shall incorporate a manual shutoff valve and a drain valve. Day tank shall be 115 volt AC, single phase, and 60 Hz. Day tank must be listed by Underwriter's Laboratory Standard UL142. Item 0002: Freight Charges The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
