Description
PLEASE VISIT U.S. ARMY YUMA PROVING GROUND CONTRACTING OFFICE WEBSITE AT HTTP://WWW.YUMA.ARMY.MIL/SITE_CONTRACTING_RFQS.ASP FOR AN ALTERNATE/MORE LEGIBLE FORMAT OF THIS AMENDMENT. AMENDMENT 002 TO JOBSITE OFFICE TRAILERS AND CARGO TRAILER W81R8T-7088-0027 *CLOSING DATE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS REMAINS 19 JUNE 2007 11:00 AM MST* Questions and Answers about Jobsite Office Trailers solicitation: Q1: We need to clarify the following items with respect to the (5) 8 1/2 x 28 trailers: Q1A: 5 KW Generator - Are you looking for a portable style with gas tank mounted on generator or RV style with separate fuel system? A1A: RV style Q1B: Lab Bench - We need to know size. A1B: 10 ft x 3 foot Q1C: Interior Height - What is your requirement for Interior Height? A1C: 7' Q2: Does the Office have to be attached to a chassis system? May it be free standing and movable with a tilt trailer and/ or fork lifts? We believe that a 20 ISO Shipping Container may be of a better value to the government being made of 16 gauge steel and resistant to winds of up to 175 mph. A2: It needs to be attached to the chassis system Q3: A question from a furniture vendor: Will you be purchasing furniture for the trailers? A3: Not at this time Q4: Is an ISO container (Office Conex) acceptable for the office trailers? A4: No, we need the ability to move them in very short notice without additional equipment Q5: Per the RFQ delivery is required within 60 days after receipt of order; can the delivery requirement be considered to be moved to the right for a delivery timeline of 10 to 12 weeks from the receipt of order? The trailers can be delivered incrementall y as they are completed through that timeframe to the customer. Would this be acceptable? A5: We need them as soon as possible. If needed we will take them as they are built. 12 week delivery ARO is acceptable but delivery of all units must be completed by that time. - end -
