- The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Acquisition Center in Orlando, FL is developing an acquisition strategy to award a contract vehicle to assist PEO STRI and its customers in satisfying miss ion requirements. The contract the PEO will award, known as STOC II, will be a set of multiple-award Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to provide simulation, training and instrumentation products and services for the Warfighter, be ginning with concept development and continuing throughout life cycle support. The objectives of this acquisition include but are not limited to: 1) facilitate the leveraging of programs and technology (to include Joint and/or Joint-related) in the best i nterests of the U.S. Army and Department of Defense; 2) prepare the Warfighter to meet the challenges of the future Joint operational environment; and 3) support continued growth in the interoperability of Live, Virtual, Constructive and Testing solutions to enhance training and testing capabilities of the Warfighter. The Government will host a STOC II Acquisition Strategy Overview session on 14 June 2007 from 1330 1630 at the Rosen Centre Hotel, 9840 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819. The purpose of the acquisition strategy overview is to provide Industry with an update to the PEOs acquisition strategy pertaining to STOC II. As a caveat to the overview, it should be noted that as acquisition documents are being developed and coordinated through the applicable acquisition approval authorities, changes in the a cquisition strategy may occur as the strategy becomes final. The PEO will hold the acquisition strategy overview at the conclusion of the Training & Simulation Industry Symposium (TSIS),* 12-14 June 2007. STOC II Acquisition Strategy Overview Reqistration Process: The PEO requests companies interested in attending the Acquisition Strategy Overview to register by sending an email to Thomas Bunch, Contract Specialist, thomas.bunch@peostri.army.mil. Registration emails should include the company name along with the n ame, position, email address and phone number of the individuals attending. This registration process is for PEO STRI use and is separate from the TSIS registration.
