Listed below are the answers to the C8 Network Conduit and Cabling Site Visit Questions 05/31/2007: 1.What type of conduit shall be used? The contractor has a choice if not specified by the USDA. All conduit must be adequate to complete the job and shall meet code. 2.Clarification between C6 and C7. Bldg. C7 is mislabeled as C6 on the drawing. 3.Who is responsible for utility locates? The contractor shall be responsible for utility locates with the work area. The USDA will provide a utility site map. 4.Can the 3? conduit be substituted with 4?? Yes, 4? conduit shall be used between C7 and C8. 5.Do the electrical outlets need to be covered in the electrical room of C8? No. 6.What is the location for the hand hold for Bldg. C8. The hand hold shall be placed close to the West side of C8. 7.What is the location of the hand hold for Bldg. 8? The hand hold shall be placed close to the West side of C8.
