Description
The United States Air Force Academy intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract with EOC Solutions LLC, 117 Apple Brook Way, Manchester, NH 03109 under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 (10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (5)) (Sole Source Awards under the Veterans Benefit Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f) This notice maybe of potential interest to other Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) within NAICS 541350; Building Inspection Services; size standard $6.5M. SDVOSB parties are requested to express their interest in writing, to the contact points noted below. The project location is the 10th Medical Group, United States Air Force Academy Hospital, building 4102, USAFA, CO 80840. The work to be performed is quarterly Inspections/Seal Fire Stop Repair Service of approximately 5,879 linear feet of walls within the four level medical facility. The proposed ordering period is for a one year period plus two optional one-year periods; three years total. Previous market research indicates that EOC Solutions LLC is the only SDVOSB Fire/Smoke Wall Inspection and Repair service contractor capable of performing this specialized work. The basis for this conclusion is that EOC Solutions LLC has competed similar and related service at other DOD/Military installations and was the only SDVOSB to respond to a previous Sources Sought Notice, solicitation number FA7000-07-0152, published by this agency in Federal Business Opportunities on 18 April 2007. However, any SDVOSB which is qualified and capable of performing the inspection and repair service at the United States Air Force Academy, shall notify the contact points listed below via electronic mail, not later 1600 hours, Mountain Time Zone, 14 June 2007. The response to this notice shall include a brief statement of qualifications, limited to 300 words or less. This is not a request for quotation.
