Description: The contractor shall furnish registered nurses (RN), specialized technicians and other clinical support personnel to the military treatment facilities at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC). The contract employee shall provide nursing care to eli gible beneficiaries of the military health care system (MHS) in outpatient clinics and inpatient wards (intensive/critical/specialty care, step-down, and post anesthesia care unit. Services will be provided in accordance with established standards, princip les and ethics of the profession and applicable professional specialty organizations, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards, applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and service specific medical regulations and polic ies, and Military Treatment Facility policies and procedures. The contract employee shall provide services in conjunction with other non-contract providers to include physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered and licensed practical nurses, and support personnel. Contract employees shall give the highest regard to patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for Patients.
