- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following: Vendor - ABAXIS; Product Vetscan HM2 Hematology System (Part # 760-000); Quantity = 6. Essential characteristics are: FDA approved, Large database storage capacity (saves up to 1,000 test records, Rapid test turn-around time (only 2-3 minutes to results), Power requirements = 220 volts AC, Self cleaning system for optimized p erformance, and User-reminder functions. Items are to be shipped to Hanover, MD 21076. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. W81XWH-07-T-0213 is issued by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writ ing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provis ions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Cont ractor Registration (CCR).
