Description

The USDA Forest Service , Ouachita National Forest, Mena Ranger District, is soliciting prospective contractors for reconstruction of 0.09 miles of FS Road 510, located approximately 11 miles South of Mena (Polk County), Arkansas; and reconstruction of 0.98 miles of FS Road 512 segment #2 located approximately 11 miles south of Langley (Montgomery County), Arkansas for the same district. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237310, with a Small Business Size Standard of $31million. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated issue date for the solicitation is June 22, 2007. A contract will be awarded to the offeror presenting the best value to the Forest Services based upon experience, past performance and price. Experience and past performance when combined will be approximately equal to price. The solicitation, and any amendments, will be made available ONLY at this internet site. Solicitations will not be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by the Forest Service.
