Description
The Contractor shall construct a lining system for the secondary containment dike for the 150,000 gallon #2 fuel oil tank and a secondary containment system for the #2 fuel oil truck offloading station at the boiler plant in accordance with Drawing No. 141-CD1, 141-C1 through 141-C3 prepared by Robert G. Dashiell, Jr., P.E., Inc. Consulting Engineers for Project No. 590-07-104. The lining system must be sealed and leak-proof and meet the requirements of Code of Federal Regulations 40 CFR Part 112 (40 CFR 112), Oil Pollution Prevention. The Contractor shall provide any test results required in specifications to the COTR (Contracting Officer's Techincal Representative). Contractor shall visit site prior to bidding to field verify dimensions and existing site conditions. Contractor shall provide bids to the Contracting Officer for the following: Base Bid Option: Contractor shall bid to construct the project as designed in Drawing No. 141-CD1, 141-C1 through 141-C3 prepared by Robert G. Dashiell, Jr., P.E., Inc. Consulting Engineers for Project No. 590-07-104. Deduct Alternate Bid Option #1: Contractor shall bid to construct the project as designed in Drawing No. 141-CD1, 141-C1 through 141-C3 prepared by Robert G. Dashiell, Jr., P.E., Inc. Consulting Engineers for Project No. 590-07-104, excluding installation of the oil water separator. Piping shall just be run from post indictor valve location to existing drop inlet. Deduct Alternate Bid Option #2: Contractor shall bid to construct the project as designed in Drawing No. 141-CD1, 141-C1 through 141-C3 prepared by Robert G. Dashiell, Jr., P.E., Inc. Consulting Engineers for Project No. 590-07-104, excluding installation of the oil water separator and post indicator valve.
