Description
Description: Contractor shall provide Carbon Dioxide (Dry Ice) and (Pellets) to various buildings located at Robins Air Force Base. Estimated quantity is 180,000 pounds in solid form (55 pound blocks) and 90,000 pounds in pellet form (1500 pounds per box). The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price. 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.7, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) FB206771430061. Written procedures will be used for this combined synopsis/solicitation. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-07, NAICS is 325120 and small business size is 1000 employees. Assets shall be delivered FOB Destination to three separate locations on Robins Air Force Base . These locations are Buildings 125, 140 and 169. Dry Ice Pellets will be delivered to Building 125 every Wednesday ( excluding holidays) with the possibility of every other Wednesday depending on demand. 55 Lbs Dry Ice Blocks will be delivered to Building 140 every other Wednesday unless demand increase and to Building 169 weekly. Contractor must provide containers in all locations (front opening in Building 140 and 169) and is also responsible to monitor tanks to ensure proper levels are maintained at all times. Delivery hours are from 7 am to 1 pm. Deliveries will not be made on holidays. The following incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2001-18, Effective 12 Jan 2004 and FAC 2001-19, Effective 01 Jan 2004 and Class Deviation 2003.003 are applicable to this combined synopsis/solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, (a) price and price related factors; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration; 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration.
