- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following: Vendor - Marketing Assessment Inc.; Product Hypothermia Blanket; Quantit y = 18 EACH. Essential characteristics are the following: Dimensions are 10.5 inches height x 1 inch width and 18 inch depth; weight=10 lbs.; user set temperature range of 65 degrees to 105 degree Farenheit for controlled warming; storage temperature of -4 0 to +122 degree Farenheit; internal power source rechargeable battery 12VDC 1.75 to 3.5 hours of operation, allowing for extended patient transport; humidity 15 to 90% non-condensing; blanket wire heats to 105 degree Farenheit within 60 seconds for rapid thermal response; AC/DC converter permits the alternative of line power operation to enhance operating flexibility; optional cigarette lighter adapter allows unlimited blanket operation during transport; optional blanket covers; sterile, single-use and non -sterile general use Items are to be shipped to Hanover, MD 21076. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. W81XWH-07-T-0219 is issued by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick , MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CC R).
