INVITATION FOR BID (IFB)/SEALED BID IS ISSUED - ONLY WRITTEN OR FAXED REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE SOLICITATION BID PACKAGE, NO EXCEPTIONS - FAX (703) 390-6582, Attention - Ray Griffith, Contract Specialist. ALL BID PACKAGES WILL BE SENT VIA U. S. MAIL, NO EXCEPTIONS. REQUIREMENT: Hunters Point Boarding School, Hwy 12 South Lupton Road, Saint Michaels, Arizona, 86511. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and supervision to perform work outlined in the scope of work on dormitory building 423, exterior windows. A total of 50 exterior windows in building 423 need to be removed and replaced with new ones. Remove 50 existing exterior metal frame single pane windows from boys section, girls section, and residential section. The new windows shall be commercial grade double pane, consisting of complete units including sash, glass, frame, weather stripping, insect screen, and hardware. The new window installation shall be water tight and joint seal. Contractor shall make a site visit to the project location to verify conditions. Contractor shall verify all dimensions and existing conditions prior to commencement of actual work and to schedule time frames with dorm manager. Contractor may shcedule site visit by contacting Facility Management Supervisor, Mr. Albert Becenti at (928) 871-4439 or 4793 extension 1005. Completion of contract performance is within 30 days after contract award. The Government estimated price is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The bid opening is scheduled at 2 P. M. (local time) July 13, 2007, at the Bureau of Indian Affairs, 2051 Mercator Drive, Reston, VA 20191. All responsible bids from responsible bidders will be considered. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder. Contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive awards from the federal Government.
