- FISC San Diego Regional Contracting Department is announcing its intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) N00244-07-R-0073 in support of SWRMC, San Diego, for the following services: Shipboard sheet metal repair and fabrication services aboard US Navy vessels in the San Diego, CA area. The Contractor will be required to provide all labor services and materials in accordance with the established statement of work and all applicable Government specifications and regulations. Inspection and acceptance of all services will be performed at destination by the cognizant Government representative. The successful offeror will be required to have a NavSea approved Quality System (IAW Nav Sea Std Item 009-004), approved and in place at time of contract award. The successful offeror will be required to submit a test and inspection plan to SWRMC-SD no later than seven days after contract award. The work to be performed will require access to non-sensitive areas aboard US Navy submarines and CVN?s and the contractor will be required to submit all clearance information required by the Government. These plans are required to be approved and in place before any orders for work are issued by the Government. The Government intends to award a Single Award Firm Fixed Price contract for a base year period and three one year option periods. NAICS: 238990; Business size: $13.0 mil.
