Description: The USDA, Agriculture Research Services (ARS) requires services and materials to replace a greenhouse heating system with a new hot water heating system. Work includes demolition, carpentry, mechanical, plumbing and electrical to replace an existing boiler, circulating pumps, fin tube radiation, associated piping and controls. This work will be performed at the New England Plant, Soil and Water Laboratory located on the campus at the University of Maine, Orono, ME. This award is restricted to small businesses. A set of plans will be available for review at the site by appointment only by calling 207-581-3298. All requests for copies of the solicitation must be received by 4:00 pm on July 10, 2007.
