- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to ASIS International, 1625 Prince Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. The contractor shall provide Office of Infrastructure Protection (OIP) Protective Security Advisors and Security Specialists with Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Reference Materials, including Protection of Assets (POA) Manuals, for use by Protective Security Coordination Division (PSCD) personnel to assist them in attain the CPP certification. The proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties who feel they are qualified may submit a quote to the Contract Specialist. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The anticipated award date is July 5, 2007. The manuals need to be delivered within 60 days to various locations within the United States. The estimated value of this proposed award is $94,525.05 (including shipping and handling). Note 22 applies.
