- Description
- The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA, is advertising for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, multi-discipline contract for Architect-Engineer Services. The selected A/E firm shall provide professional A/E service for various VA projects as required. A/E services shall include, but will not be limited to, complete design and construction documents which are based on complete and thorough site investigation, verification of as-built drawings, analysis of existing utility systems, necessary detail drawings, reproduction so all necessary documents, all accurate estimates and calculations and construction period services. Tasks shall include architectural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and occasional structural disciplines. This is a request for SF 330's Architect-Engineer Qualifications only. Forms are available on the internet at: http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/formslibrary.do?formType=SF#1-1000. To be considered for selection, interested eligible firms shall submit three (3) copies of their SF 330 no later than 4:30 p.m. on July 12, 2007. Forms should be sent to Angela White, Contracting Officer, Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Blvd., Dublin, GA 31021. The estimated maximum cumulative A/E fees under any resultant contract shall not exceed $1,200,000.00 which is inclusive of the base year and two (2) one-year options periods. Eligible firms must be located with 150 miles of Dublin, GA. NAICS Code 5341330, Engineering Services, with size standard of $4 million applies. The A/E selection criteria shall include the following elements (a) through (m), not necessarily listed in order of importance or merit: (a) Proposed management plan; (b) Previous experience; (c) Professional qualifications (d) Facilities location; (e) Proposed design approach; (f) Cost control: (g) Schedule control; (h) Estimating effectiveness; (i) Experience and capabilities in the following areas: value engineering, life cycle analysis, critical path method, fast-track construction, energy conservation, new energy sources, environmental assessment, specialized experience, computer aided design, drafting, and other computer applications; (j) Awards received; (k) Circumstances and outcomes of any litigation you have been involved in over the past five years; (l) type and amount of liability insurance you carry; and (m) background of proposed key personnel. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No material will be issued and no solicitation package or bidder/plan holder list will be issued. See numbered note 29.
