Description
. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code is 443112, Size Standard not to exceed 500 employees. Solicitation/Purchase Requisition number F2KBAA7106A002 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 effective 22 Mar 2007. The Government intends to award the following (CLIN 0001) Presentation Renovation Bldg 201 Conference Room upgrade all equipment can be quoted as or equal Overall ? Test operational readiness of complete system ? Include final demo with government employees explaining complete functionality ? Coordinate project install with government schedule availability Sound booth install ? Create and install an audio visual control console at SW corner of conference room 7A. (See floor plan) Console dimension should be ?L-shaped? in design and close to 70? long 46? high 32 ?deep. Control console should match existing wood wall paneling and allow space to hold all existing audio visual equipment listed below. ? Install the following audio/visual equipment and reroute cabling to control booth (Average run, 50-75 feet across the auditorium) o Mixer Eurodesk Sl3242 FX PRO .. Sole control point for all audio levels o Two existing computers and monitors .. VGA and Audio connections o Polycom VS 8000 VTC equipment ? Provide and install a DVD player w/ hard drive capability to provide multiple push-button recordings such as National anthem or AF song. o Example: Mackenzie macfi-mp Digital Audio DVD or any of equal capability ? Provide and install a 17 in Crestron touch screen control panel into control booth o Program to function between DVD, two PCs, laptop port, VTC control/monitor, audio, and lights o Provide initial Crestron programming o Provide government employee training on all functions ? Provide, install, and secure all cabling in accordance with IEEE standards (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) Main Stage Podium ? Provide, install new podium on main stage, and configure all electronic equipment within podium. Podium should be made of wood matching existing wood wall paneling. Podium should be close to Marshall Podium model p-12- L07651 with similar features. o Must be able to accommodate existing Crestron control panel for top side installation ? Reinstall and program existing Crestron unit within new podium o Mount as directed by government on top side of podium o Program user friendly multi-media interface for presenters o Reprogram for simplified push-button interface to play National Anthem and other Air Force songs ? Provide and install a high quality podium microphone o Example: Sure Model MX 400D Series Microphone or any of equal capability ? Provide, install, and secure all cabling in accordance with IEEE standards (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) Audio improvements ? Install a pair of existing wall mounted speakers JBL JRX 800 (See floor plan) o Provide, install, and secure all cabling in accordance with IEEE standards (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) o No bldg modification, only stand alone podium mount. ? Relocate existing JBL Control 28 speakers to conference room 7B ? Provide and install 2 replacement power amplifiers for ceiling/auxiliary speakers o Preferred model QSCCX3022 ? Rerun wiring to all 20 in ceiling speakers ? Replace damaged or faulty speakers with Sound Tube model cm 500 or equivalent o Install new wiring to terminate at power amplifiers QUANTITY: 1UNIT OF MEASURE: Each DESIRED DELIVERY DATE: 28 September, 2007 FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and acceptance: DESTINATION.
