Description
This solicitation is being amended provide the following info: Response date is 22 Jun 07 (Please disregard the amendment with 4 Jun 2007 response date). Amendment, also is to solicit for Offerors whom can provide a Morehouse Calibrator - Morehouse, Dead Weight Force Calibrator in New, Used or Refurbished condition. Vendor to offer a 1-year minimum warranty. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ), for Brand Name or Equal. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20070426. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. Equal items must be accompanied by sufficient literature detailing product specifications. Equal items will be evaluated by the Government technical team to determine equivalency to the specified products. NAICS is 334519 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Solicitation is for commercial purchase of Dead Weight Force Calibrator as listed below. Description: The 412th Test Wing Maintenance Division, Edwards Air Force Base requires: 500 LBF Capacity Model ?L? Morehouse Dead Weight Force Calibrator (Quantity ? 1). Specification/Salient Characteristics of the calibrator required are as follows: ? Range Required: 0-500 lbf ? Capable of Compression and tension measurements ? Weight material type: Stainless steel ? Weights require only initial manufacture calibration to within .003% of value ? Weights require traceability to the National Institute of Standards and Technology ? Weights are applied and removed through manually operated levers ? Pneumatic operation acceptable ? Calibrator must have yoke assembly and adapters for calibration of push/pull gages, proving rings and load cells ? Smallest increment weight no greater than 1 lb. ? Overall accuracy of ? 0.01% of indicated value Manufacturer: Morehouse Delivery of item upon ARO is 26 weeks or less. Place of delivery, performance, and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524.
