Description

TACOM-LCMC Rock Island intends to issue a Sole Source Request For Quote (RFQ) with RACOM Corp, 201, West State, Marshalltown, IA 50158-5841 for access to the RACOM trunk radio network using RACOM portable, mobile, and base radio. Also includes 24/7 maintenance/repair for the above RACOM radios with a 20 minute response time after notification that services are required. The period of performance is 1 year. This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for quote. However, all information received by close of business on 14 June 2007 will be considered by the Government. Information received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice will be entirely at the discretion of the Government.
