- The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-7-0024 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-17 dated 15-May-2007. The quantities of supplies in the schedule are estimates only. The Government shall order at least the quantity of supplies designated in the schedule as the "minimum". Delivery of the balance will be on an as needed basis with the Government giving two-week notice of delivery. The apparent low bidder will be required to deliver to the delivery location 2 (two) boxes with 5000 sheets per box and a copy of the specification for the samples being submitted, samples must match all specifications including packaging for the bid sample requested by the government. The samples must be delivered within 2 days after notice from the Government, at no cost to the Government. Pricing option 1 specifications as listed in CLIN 1, except with 0% post consumer waste. Pricing option 2 specification as listed for CLIN 1 except paper must contain 30% post consumer waste. Pricing option 3 specification as listed for CLIN 1 except paper must contain 20% post consumer waste. Prior to award, the apparent low bidder must be actively registered at CCR.gov and have on file or submit a Census vender registration form. The Census Bureau intends to order the option that is the best interest of the Government complying with all regulations.
