- This is a combined commercial synopsis/solicitation (HSFEEM-07-Q-0016), supplemented with specific requirements included herein. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation for quotes, since a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/FEMA has a requirement to replace radiological equipment and accessories used for training courses at the Noble Training Center, located in Anniston, Alabama. The NAICS code is 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Award of a firm-fixed-price commercial purchase order, using simplified acquisition procedures is anticipated. Award will be made to the lowest cost offeror(s). Offerors may quote on all or selected items in order to be considered for award. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards in order to fulfill this requirement. Any warranty offered shall be listed on the quote form submitted by vendors. Quotes shall be submitted to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security/FEMA, National Emergency Training Center, NETC & Regional Support Branch, Building E, Room 112A, 16825 S. Seton Avenue, Emmitsburg, Maryland 21727 or emailed to teresa.dingle@dhs.gov, no later than 4:00 p.m., East coast time, on June29, 2007. The equipment descriptions below are brand name. Any quoted equivalent must be fully supported by documentation to ensure that the product(s) have the same or better functionality as the brand name(s) listed. Equipment on GSA Schedule must reflect the GSA Schedule Contract number on the quote. The Government requires products to be shipped F.O.B. Destination. The following is the equipment required: Quantity of ten, Ludlum 44-38 Energy Compensated Geiger Meter Radiation Detectors, Part Number 47-15882000; Quantity of eight Teletrix SP900C Radiation Probe Paks continuous output variable remote control simulators; Quantity of ten Canberra UltrRadiac electronic personal dosimeters, Yellow MRAD 113; Quantity of four Radeco H-810DC air samplers with tripods, battery paks, filter holders, filter paper and charcoal cartridges; Quantity of one Catoma Speedome Tent, 4 season 7X8, MSN/MFR Part #64556; Quantity of one Mass Spectrometer, Multi-channel Analyzer; Quantity of one Power Adapter, Model AG-456; Quantity of one Audio/Video outputs, Model DCR-VX2100; Quantity of one Microphone, Model DCR-VX2100; Quantity of one Visual Pager, Model 900; Quantity of six RemotePoint RF, Model & VP4810. Delivery shall be made to Noble Training Center, 490 Care Drive, Fort McClellan, Alabama 36205. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offeror-Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
