- Description
- This is a modification to a previously submitted announcement for overhaul of USCG C130 Cooling Turbines, P/N 571925-3-1; quantity of Five (5) each. The previous announcement did not include the following requirement: Firm-fixed prices are required which will include all services required to accomplished a complete overhaul in accordance with AFTO 15A3-2-52-3, latest revision. The Coast Guard will not authorize additional funding for any facet of overhaul specified by this AFTO or any other technical directive referenced in the AFTO as a supplemental document. The contractor may submit evidence of the existence of cannibalization or crash damage, which will be considered by the Contracting Officer on a case-by-case basis. The existence of corrosion or the necessity to replace high value replacement parts, identified by the AFTO as part of the overhaul, shall not constitute an exclusion to the firm-fixed pricing accepted for award. All other terms, conditions, and specifications of the original notice remain in effect.
