- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Forensic Technology, Montreal, QU, Canada for a follow-on contract for services and equipment. The services are for maintenance and upgrades of the Integrated Ballistic Identification Systems (IBIS). Equipment will be for possible le purchase of IBIS equipment. This is a sole source due to the proprietary hardware and software of the IBIS systems. The proposed contract will be for a base period of one year, plus up to four one year option periods.
