- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal detention Center located in Philadelphia, Pennsyvania. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed output. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided may include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Years are as follows: Base Period: Inpatient Days, Estimated - 50 days; Outpatient Visits, Estimated - 200 visits; Option Year 1: Inpatient Days, Estimated - 55 days; Outpatient Visits, Estimated - 210 visits; Option Year 2: Inpatient Days, Estimated - 60 days; Outpatient Visits, Estimated - 220 visits; Option Year 3: Inpatient Days, Estimated - 65 days; Outpatient Visits, Estimated - 230 visits; Option Year 4: Inpatient Days, Estimated - 70 days; Outpatient Visits, Estimated - 240 visits. Due to the volume of information, estimated quantities for outpatient institution services will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on/or about July 10, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is August 24, 2007. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
