- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as Request for Quotation #RFQ-21705-0007-07. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423440 (Other Commercial Equipment Merchant Wholesalers) and the small business size standard is 100 employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The Government intends to make a single award to the responsive/responsible quoter who submits the lowest-priced technically acceptable offer. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Contracting Office, located at 655 Fairton-Millville Road, Fairton, New Jersey, 08320 is requesting quotations for a commercial flight-type conveyor dishwasher machine, with delivery and assembly of machine onsite included in quote, for the Federal Detention Center (FDC) located at 700 Arch Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19105. SCHEDULE OF ITEMS AND SPECIFICATIONS: 1.1 INTRODUCTION The performance called for by this Statement of Work consists of furnishing a new flight-type dish machine; to include optional equipment, technical expertise and labor needed for assembly in the 2nd floor food service department of FDC Philadelphia. 1.2 QUALITY ASSURANCE The work shall be performed by a Supplier/Contractor who regularly engages in the business of the sales, repair and installation of commercial type dish machines. All workmanship and material shall be in accordance with the required reference standards. 1. Manufacturer Specifications 2. Other authorities having jurisdiction. 1.3 SPECIFICATIONS 1 (one) commercial flight type automatic conveyor dish machine, Hobart Model No. FT900 or equivalent, stainless steel construction, minimum capacity of 13,000 dishes per hour. Cycles - Pre-wash, wash, rinse and final rinse (180F). Electric booster heater to maintain 180F rinse. Volts - 480v/60hz/3ph single point connection for machine and booster. Left to right hand operation. Security package for a prison environment. Designed with internal controls, safeties and gauges. Designed for energy efficiency. Manufacturer parts and labor warranty included. Total assembly of the dish machine to be included in quote. 1.5 SCOPE The intent of this statement of work is to describe the performance in which the installation should be accomplished. Provided/contractor will deliver the dish machine to FDC Philadelphia. 1. Provided/contractor will totally assemble the dish machine in the location as per FDC Philadelphia. 2. Final electrical, ventilation and water connections will be accomplished by FDC Philadelphia. 3. Provided/contractor will perform start-up, check out and a brief hands-on operation procedures for the dish machine. 1.6 TERMS 1. All personnel will be required to pass background checks before entering the institution. 2. Normal work hours shall be Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. *ALL prices must be quoted FOB DESTINATION. Delivery is required within 30 days of award.* EVALUATION FACTORS: The Government intends to make a single award, to the lowest technically acceptable offeror meeting the required specifications.
