- This requirement is a Small Business Set-Aside. The NAIC code is 237990 and the Size Standard is $31.0 Million. The FAA, New England Region, has a requirement for work associated with the purchase and installation of a security vertical, pivot gate including electrical requirements and control cables at the Air Route Surveillance Radar (ARSR) Facility located in North Truro, MA. The work also includes, but is not limited to the following: Alteration of existing fence to accommodate the new security vertical, pivot gate, installation of new gravel access road, 185 feet of paving the access road, paving of the "turn around" area, excavation, trenching, and backfilling, tree removal, installation of AIPHONE access system with single entry video and two monitor/push button, install hand holes and GRSC conduits, install new parking light pole with light fixture, and install grounding and lightning protection at new security gate area. All work is outlined in the Technical Specifications and the Drawings. Performance period is forty-five (45) calendar after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. Liquidated Damages will be assessed in the amount of $412.00 day. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Solicitation packages will be available on or about the week of June 25th, 2007. Contractor must provide references showing that during the past three years he/she has successfully completed a job of similar size and complexity, and that the Contractor has demonstrated his/her ability to coordinate with various trades. References must be submitted with your offer. Failure to submit references with your offer may result in the offer being rejected as non-responsive. There is a $100.00 non-refundable fee required for this solicitation package. All checks must be made payable to the Federal Aviation Administration.
