- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina is requesting professional services of an A/E firm to perform construction period services to monitor the removal of an underground storage tank and related soil abatement.  This work includes monitoring well abandonment, impacted soil removal, UST removal, soil compaction monitoring and oversight of soil loading and hauling. Estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.00. Design shall be in accordance with all applicable requirements of the VA construction standards, space criteria, NFPA, NEC, OSHA and local, state and federal regulations. All construction documents are to be provided electronically in the current version of AutoCad and MS Word. Area of consideration is within 150 radius of the medical center. All interested firms are required to submit two copies of their Standard Form (SF) 330, Architect-Engineer Qualifications to the Contracting Officer on or before July 16, 2007 by 4:30 p.m. local time. This is an unrestricted procurement under NAICS Code 541310 with a Business Size Standard of $4.5 million. NO FAXED COPIES OF SF 330's will be accepted.
