Description

The VA Medical Center, Durham, NC is advertising for an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, multi-discipline contract for architectural and engineering services. A/E firm will provide professional services necessary for the design of various projects at the Durham VA Medical Center that are Architectural and/or Engineering in nature which may include the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, cost estimates, miscellaneous reports and construction period services. Delivery or performance shall be made only as authorized by issuance of separate task orders. NOTE: One or more contracts may be awarded as a result of this sources sought announcement. A contract for task orders under $50,000 will be awarded to an Emerging Small Business A/E firm. For task orders in excess of $50,000 a second contract could be awarded, under full and open competition. The estimated maximum cumulative A/E fees under any resultant contract shall not exceed $2M, which is inclusive of the base year and (2) one-year option periods. Eligible firms must be located within a 150-mile radius of VAMC Durham, North Carolina. The NAICS codes are 541310/541330. The Small Business size standard is $4.5M in annual gross revenues averaged over the past three years. The emerging small business (ESB) size standard is 50% of the Small Business size standard. In order to be eligible for award, firms are required to register at the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website located at http://www.ccr.gov. A/E firms are required to submit Standard Form (SF) 330 (2 copies) to the attention of Pattie Williams (90C), VA Medical Center, Building 3, RM 209, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, North Carolina 27705 no later than 4:30 pm on July 16, 2007. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No material will be issued and no solicitation packages or bidder/plan holders list will be issued. NO FAXED COPIES OF SF 330's will be accepted.
