- Description
- This notice is to extend the solicitation indefinately amendment attached. Item 0001: NSN: 1730-01-061-4444RN; Towbar, Aircraft; P/N F52606-501. The B-52 tow bar consists of an aluminum alloy 6061 T6, tubular assembled tow bar, a retractable ground-handling wheeled dolly (Trunnion assembly) mounted toward the aft tow bar end, a towing eye at the tow bar tug end, crossbeam and left-hand and right-hand beam assemblies at the airplane landing gear tow coupling end of the assembly. Handles, installed immediately aft of the towing eye end, provide secure hand-holds for operating personnel. Dimensions: Length of 520 in., Width of 116in., Height of 51 in., Weight (approx) of 2500lb, Tire pressure of 65 to 75 psig This requirement is to establish a C type contract with a basic quantity of 1 ea and 4 quantity options of 1-7 EA. Assets will be shipped FOB destination to multiple CONUS locations. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), and will evaluate proposals and make award in accordance with the evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. OFFERORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REVIEW THEIR DATA FOR ACCURACY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 23 May 2007. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/ ). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the FEDTEDS webpage (https://www.fedteds.gov/). All vendors are required to register via FEDTEDS for an account in order to access the technical data.
