- Description
- The US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) Acquisition Center Washington will be issuing a Request for Proposal on behalf of the Product Manager Countermine & EOD for Vehicle Optics Sensor System (VOSS) requirem ent. The VOSS is envisioned to consist of a camera system possessing a day color camera, an intensified low light level TV camera (LLLTV), a thermal camera, with zoom capabilities, pointing, with stabilization capabilities assuring high image quality when the vehicle is running or on the move; a Controller that serves as the interface between the user and system; a ruggedized monitor that displays imagery; and telescoping capability that raises and lowers the camera system; a Digital Video Recorder tha t records images for later use; and a processor that integrates and links the various subsystems together, and a laser range-finding capability. Additionally, integration of the system with the RG-31 and JERRV 6X6, installation, training, electronic techn ical manuals, provisioning data and spare and repair parts are required to support the VOSS. This acquisition is being handled in accordance with commercial procedures. The RFP will solicit proposals for a five year ID/IQ contract will a ceiling of $302M . The RFP will be posted at the C-E LCMC Interactive Business Opportunity Page(IBOP) https://abop.monmouth.army.mil/. Interested parties will be required to register at the website prior to accessing the documents. The RFP will be posted under Army Pre-a ward, C-E LCMC-2007. It is expected that the RFP will be posted on or about 1 July 2007. Potential Offerors should continue to monitor the IBOP for RFP posting and any further updates.
