- Description
- This project includes construction of surface facilities for a nominal 10 MGD water treatment plant set up for withdrawing, treating and injecting surface water from the C-44 Canal into one to three Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) well (5); and th e recovery, re-treatment and discharge of stored ground water from the ASR well back to the C-44 Canal. The Option Bid defines expansion of the surface facility to include a second raw water treatment line, and ASR system. The magnitude of construction f or this project is between $10,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. Performance Period for the project is 455 calendar days for base and 270 calendar days for option work for a total of 725 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation wi ll be issued on or about 29 June 2007 and proposals due on or about 31 July 2007. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Proposals will be evaluated on Technical, Past Performance, the Small Business Utilization Plan and Price. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISTION. There will be a price preference for certified HUBZone small business concerns that comply with the requirements in the solicitation as stipulated in FAR 19.1307. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. Solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website at https://www.fedteds.gov/. There is a VENDOR USER GUIDE available on the FedTeDS website.
