- Description
- The project includes Design and Construction of facilities infrastructure upgrades in support of future Area B BRAC projects at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The work is located at multiple locations in Area B. The work consists of new shall ow trench steam tunnels, high pressure steam supply and pumped condensate return, new storm drainage, sanitary, water, gas, communications, underground electrical distribution, 12.5 kV transformers and switchgear, lighting protection, demolition of Bldg 68 2, exterior fire protection and fire hydrants, road relocations, new road construction and asphalt repaving with concrete curbs and gutters. The project also includes the relocation of the existing guard house located at Gate 19B to the new entrance access road to be constructed at 8th street. The project will have options for widening of additional roadways, provision and installation of additional communications cabling and terminations, and additional electrical distribution. The estimated price range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. A contract cost limitation will be provided with the technical requirements package. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals received in response to this solicitation wi ll be evaluated for Best Value to the Government in accordance with the following criteria listed in descending order of importance: Experience (Prime Contractor, Major Subcontractor, Design Team, Key Personnel); Past Performance (Prime Contractor, Design Contractor, and Past Performance on Utilization of Small, Small Disadvantaged, and Women-Owned Small Businesses); Management (Approach and Schedule); Pro Forma Information (Subcontracting Plan, Financial, and Bonding), and Price. All evaluation factors, ot her than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. NAICS 221330. Contract duration is 520 days. This is an UNRESTRICTED procurement. Size Standard is $11.5M. Approximate issue date is June 29, 2007 and approximate due date for proposals is August 8, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Louisville Time. This project is scheduled for award in September 2007. Project documents will be web only.
