- Description
- This project involves the fabrication and delivery of a 106ft long steel pedestrian bridge system. The bridge shall consist of two steel girders, roughly 3ft deep each, spaced 4ft apart on center, with all appropriate steel stiffener and bracing mem bers. Aluminum grating shall be required for the bridge decking, with aluminum guardrails along each side of the bridge. Priming and painting of the bridge system shall also be required. This procurement is designated as a small business set aside. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately July 6, 2007, on-line only through FedTeDS; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the specifications and drawings will not be honored. Requests must be made by registering for this solicitation through FedTeDS at http://www.fedteds.gov. Once registered, vendors, plan rooms and printing companies will be able to download the solicitation and drawings on or after the above issue date.
