Description: The U.S. Geological Survey hereby cancels the A-76 Standard Competitive Sourcing Study of the functions of the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) and Solicitation 06HQSS0002. The original public announcement was posted on September 30, 2005. To expedite the process of transforming its geospatial technical operations in a timely manner, the USGS will use an alternative strategy to the current A-76 process to achieve efficiencies and modernization of the National Geospatial Technical Operations Center.
